What does it mean to be winning at life?

What does it mean to be winning at life?

Jesus was a fantastic communicator. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that he was the greatest storyteller who ever lived. I bet his delivery was perfect; the way he set the scene, introduced characters and built a storyline. But it’s not just about his storytelling skills, it’s who the stories were about. Jesus came to make the invisible, visible. - He was making known the kingdom of God.

Matthew 5 we see Jesus share the beatitudes – e.g. “blessed are the…”
But there’s a twist in the answers.
You see in God’s kingdom – it’s not those we usually envy in life who are blessed, it’s those we could easily bypass without realising.
Not those who have all the answers to faith, but those who know they don’t.
Not those who are in the limelight, but those who take a backseat.

So, what does it mean to be winning at life?
To be blessed?

Here’s some words that Jesus spoke.
So what do you think?
Are you winning?
