A spoken word on infant loss
This is a spoken word piece I wrote for the charity ‘saying goodbye’ in December 2012. It was the second spoken word film Andy Toovey and I collaborated on, after Christmas Chord which came out a month earlier. My wife Cath and I have never experienced infant loss, the only way I can describe this poem is that the idea came to me about a conversation being cut short and the rest flowed from there. I’m humbled to think this has helped so many people already. May it be a source of comfort and understanding to you too.
